7 Day Plumbing Services recently carried out an annual boiler service on an Ideal Logic Max 2 combination boiler at a property on South Oak Lane in Wilmslow.

The boiler was approximately three years old and, following a full inspection and service, was found to be in excellent condition and operating as it should.

During the appointment, the homeowner mentioned that the hot water from the boiler felt hotter than expected.

Our engineer checked the boiler and found no faults or issues with its operation. Instead, the domestic hot water temperature had simply been increased accidentally by adjusting the control dial.

The hot water temperature was reduced by 10°C, immediately making it more comfortable for everyday use.
